Burlappy Happy

There really isn't anything soft and cozy about a hefty piece of burlap, is there? But the charm I believe, comes from the unspoken history of a well used burlap scrap.

And who said it can't be beautiful?!

And functional?!

And a peek at a "coming soon to your *screen* post"!

  11. I once saw a rug out of burlap (sort of like a sisal rug). I would love to make one some time! I like the clothesline with all of the burlap. Just made a burlap table runner. I am posting it tomorrow.

  14. Oh, the sweet smell of Burlap!

I keep seeing those bags everywhere online. I FINALLY found a couple at a yard sale a few weekends ago. Put them in my friends car. Drove around a bit more. And then the smell started rising in the heat.....the smell of burlap and old OIL!!! They didn't look oily, but they must have been in a garage or something and are permeated with it. We finally pulled over and tied them up in a plastic bag....

Gotta get me a clothesline put up to air those babies out!!! I just love that photo!

Again, visiting from Funky Junk - girl, you've been busy!!!!
