It looks and feels as though summer has finally arrived here in North Dakota. The sun is shining (most days) the birds are singing and, of course the wind is blowing! But more importantly....the lilacs are blooming! For those of you who have been following this blog for a while, you may remember my post on my favorite scents. The deer have enjoyed eating the lilacs we planted when we first moved to the country several years ago, but I do have a dwarf lilac bush close to the house that they are letting ME enjoy! Just wanted to share them with you...

Absolutely lovely. They remind me of being a little girl, my mom had a lilac tree in our backyard. I can smell them!
ReplyDeleteYou lucky, lucky girl! Our lilacs fell victim to a very late frost. Enjoy their fragrance for me.
