You'll have to excuse my pictures....north facing window, dark color, glare, rookie camera, blah...blah...blah.....
I bought some Martha Stewart paintable bead-board wallpaper for below the chair rail and painted it Antique white to match the trim color. It's quite a sharp contrast with the brown, but I love it.
This is the front of a chippy vintage dresser drawer that I picked up from one of our JunkFest vendors this year.
During our visit to the Bachman's idea house we shopped the store, where I bought this cool bulk scale....now sitting on my dining room table.
This is spectacular! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! those columns are FABULOUS!
ReplyDeleteLove the chocolate brown color next to the white...beautiful room! Great collection of columns!

Gorgeous! I am so coveting your columns!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I love everything! Can I move into your dining room? Seriously, the paint color goes so perfectly with the white underneath the chair rail and your black and white curtains and slip covers (my fave!) look like they were meant to go with the new motif! Everything is styled just to my liking. One word of caution - don't lick the walls! Chocolate......yummy........~Leena~
ReplyDeleteOH MY STINKIN' FABULOUS! I love the color. It's so warm and totally yummy. You wouldn't want to share you "slipcover how" to would you? I have chairs just like these that need to be covered badly. I love how yours are short and perfect for kids at the table. Great job on your room! Enjoy it!

ReplyDeleteAndrea... I am not sick yet just tired, but the store is amazing the BEST Christmas I have done yet. I guess it takes a few years of practice to get it done right.
I love the White Columns!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I like the way the white pops off of the chocolate.
ReplyDeleteOh. Man.
ReplyDeleteI can't even read any of your text, I'm so infatuated with your paint and decor. (And I think I just gained 2 pounds thinking about chocolate-y walls. Mmmmm.
I am so happy that you found a spot for the chippy drawer front! We love it when our treasures find a new home.
